The investigation surrounding the allocation of funds at Without Walls International Church, is heating up.
Two US senators sent out letters to several televangelist ministries in November 2007 asking for financial records.
Senators Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) and Max Baucus (D-Montana) of the Senate Finance Committee said they sent the new letters to the Whites and three other televangelists to remind them that “the committee’s jurisdiction includes the federal tax policy governing the billions of dollars donated to and controlled by the nation’s tax-exempt groups.”
A few ministries have not turned in the documents including, Without walls but their problems have been compounded with the ending of their marriage, and the recent attempts to sell both of their Florida churches (Tampa and Lakeland). Now former Without Walls employees and insiders are speaking up to NBC news to share the misdeeds that they witness while involved in the church’s ministries. Apparently Paula and Randy were literally fleecing the Lord’s flock. This is a sad thing that the government has to investigate “God’s people” because they are so sheisty. Just messy! I’m continuing to pray for the members of this church.
