Kids plot to Kill Teacher!!!!!!!

I wish that I could say that this is a joke! Unfortunately it’s not…
Police in Waycross Ga. thwarted a murder plot against a veteran teacher. Who was plotting against her? Her third grade students.
Apparently they were angry that she scolded one student for standing on a chair, so nine children (ages 8-10) devised a plan to off the educator.
1. One student was to cover the windows so that no one could look in,
2. another was to knock her unconscious with a glass paperweight,
3. then they were going to tie her with duct tape and handcuffs and
4. then stab her to death

OMG!!! They even brought the weapons to school. Many of the teachers are speculating that the kids didn’t realize they could have hurt her. I’m not buying that. By age ten you know that a cut can hurt you, so why would you think that stabbing someone would hurt? These are not dumb children, they even assigned a kid to “clean up” the would be crime scene!
This is horrendous for so many reasons. First of all the fact that these kids were willing to commit such a serious act of violence kills me, they weren’t planning to trip her or drop water on her, they were going to straight murk her! Secondly, how sad is it that these kids are so not used to discipline that one scolding would make them plot a murder scheme?? Scolding is a normal part of growing up! I remember getting “To’ up” for standing on the edge of the bath tub. Not because my mama was a mean, horrible child abuser, but because she knew that a spanking was nothing in comparison to cracking my head open on the side of the tub! And these kids can’t handle a verbal warning? I promise you that I am soo confused by this! We have to pray for and RAISE our children. It’s ok to let them be free spirits but discipline is a must!
