The new Patron Saint of Oprahlogy?
Oprah’s always had a lot of humanistic stuff going on but apparently her new podcasts are taking it to a whole new crazy level. her own religion
folks across the internet are propagating that The Big O is basically starting her own religion which seems to be a large conglomerate of bits and pieces from every faith that Oprah likes (kind of like those “favorite things” shows)
As a Christian, it makes me sad that she basically changed her religion based on a GINORMOUS misinterpretation on her part. God is not jealous of any of us, what the verse is saying is that God doesn’t want anyone getting the credit for His good work! Lord, Lord, Lord! she’s got over 2 million people downloading these podcasts. all based on her incorrect assessment of the Word!! This is why the Black church has to do a better job of getting at the doctrine of the Bible not just the words.

(and of course like a true Obama supporter I’m worried about how this will reflect on his campaign)

The newest Oprah promotion, Eckhart Tolle’s book “A New Earth” is Eastern Mysticism/Hinduism specifically targeted at the Western nominal Christian audience. Oprah has become the biggest promoter of apostasy from the Christian faith in the Western world. I don’t think she is intentionally trying to lead people astray. She sincerely believes what she is saying and doing. Unfortunately, her mind is blinded to what she is really promoting.
