Raising Gang Bangers!!??!!

This was so horrid that I had to put the whole article up there. I have no word to summarize this high level of ignorance.

*A Denver man was arrested for causing a public disturbance after fighting with his girlfriend over which gang their four-year-old son should join.

Police told Denver’s KMGH that Joseph Manzanares showed up at the video store where his girlfriend worked, threatened to kill her and knocked over several video displays.

Manzanares, who is Hispanic, wants the child to eventually bang with his gang Westside Ballers, while his black girlfriend wants the child to become a member of her Crips street gang.

“They have different ideas on how the baby should be raised,” said Commerce City police Sgt. Joe Sandoval. “Basically, she said they cannot agree on which gang the baby would ‘claim.’”

This poor, poor child needs to be put in to Child Protective Services. I want to adopt him right now! I’m so serious. Not because I need a baby or anything, but this child has been born into idiocy!!! We have two people of two different ethnic groups who loved each other enough to have a baby and stay together for 4 years but were willing to hurt each other over gang mess. What’s even worse it that we have parents who don’t even want better for their child. They don’t expect him to go to college, become a doctor, get married. They expect the child to join a gang!! The only issue is which set he should be in!!! this hurts my heart on so many levels it’s not even funny. Just hurts. when did we all stop wanting to do better?
