Diddy was right, Bitchassness is a disease affecting our community and Akon is the newest victim. This dude has faked his jail time! You know how he supposedly went to prison for 3 whole, horrible years filled with violence and moments that inspired his hit song “Locked up.” Well turns out that’s a big fat lie!!

Now he has been arrested, but only convicted once.
“A-Con” was on probation for 3 years for gun possession, then he was caught with one stolen car and went to jail, JAIL (not prison) for several months.
At first I found it comical, dude why are you so pressed to be a thug? You freaking sing “Smack That.” But now I find it sad. Folks used to lie about having degrees and education, because it was worth something. Now people gotta lie about jail time? Is that something you need to have? Is jail time so valuable in our society that we need to lie and pretend we went?? Negro, jail is not a good thing! Why would you lie about going to jail? It doesn’t make you attractive or a better singer. Now you’re a liar, A really lame liar at that. He just should have been himself and told the truth.
The biggest element of Bitchassness is that you are perpetuating this stereotype to the public, particularly your young fans. We already have enough young black men treating jail like a bar mitzvah and your dumb tail wants to lie and add fuel to the fire. You did enough crime in your day. You shouldn’t be proud of that and yet you feel like you need to make it seem worse? Black people why? Is street cred ruining us!?
