Jill Scott and Gabby Union get Naked

Jilly from Philly is taking it all off!! Tastefully of course. Actress Gabrielle Union and Singer, Actress, songwriter and Poetess Jill Scott will be featured along with about five other celebs in Allure’s Annual Naked issue, which celebrates the female body.

I’ve seen previous issues and no “naughty bits” are shown. So you don’t need to feel awkward or nasty if you pick up a copy. I’m very glad to see Allure Magazine celebrating the Black female body tastefully. All too often we’re only “celebrated” in a sexual way or being told that our bodies are overweight or we’re being given tips to cover our “problem areas” (and without fail the “pear shaped” chick in the melanin challenged magazines is black). So Kudos to Allure for including/ celebrating two black women of different shades and shapes!
