Black women! It’s time we had a serious meeting…

I’ve been doing some thinking and I feel like it’s time for us to do some serious image overalls. We’ve been trashed,maligned, embarassed and degraded by just a few too many stereotypes. There are people who’ve never actually spent time with one of us much less enough of us to realize how different we are from those negative images. The internet is filled with hate filled tirades against us, and those without the high-speed hook up can simply turn on the nearst tv to see some of our lesser sort, bemoan the fact that they don’t know who their “Baby’s daddy” is, or hear our men say “they don’t love them hoes” while plastering our faces as examples. Even our Tiny nubian princesses are being slammed by racists.
Ladies we all know that these trifiling types exist, but can we real, decent, hardworking black women be seen. Sure we’ve got Oprah and Condi Rice ( both of whom are critized for pandering to whites), Michelle Obama ( Fabulous in all her ways, but is constantly critizied for every move she makes) and Claire Huxtable… Other than a few politicians, in terms of modern living women in the media that’s it.
So I propose that we hire some PR people. I mean a full on stealth like Public relations team that will help us to put our best face forward on all fronts.
If we all chip in ( 5-10 dollars there are a lot of us) we can afford to pay them and quietly pay off the women that are holding us back. that means staning in line at the Plies “Bust it Baby” and all VH1 audiitions and writing on the spot checks for sista’s that will walk out. Giving Video hoes Louis Bags and real acting lessons (since they rarely get paid and all of them claim they want to be actors) so they won’t degrade themselves in videos. Maybe we can pay for the paternaty test and birth control so that these women don’ have to embarrass us by reavling their sexual history on national television for all of us to see.
In the meantime our PR team could be working to push our real, glorious fabulous images into the mainstream. We could create better acting roles and our PR will acutually promote them. Out PR Team could get people (male and female) to write postive songs about us and actually get them played on the radio. Maybe black will be seen as real caring, feeling humans instead of hard, bossy yelling “superwomen” we’re portrayed to be. Hopefully the hate may weaken and understanding may grow. but at least we’ll start to feel better about ourselves. The possibilities are endless ladies… So who wants to chip in?
Well, I guess your plan “is” creative but seriously flawed. Trying to pay a person off to stop them from degrading themselves is only a one time shot and a means for extortion. Pride is not something that can be bought; just as respect is not something that can be given. I believe the problem starts with the first part of your statement. I am number one and foremost a woman. What others choose to call me defines them more than it defines me. I will not allow myself be defined by anyone. There are days that I don’t feel as optimistic about my world or my brethren but it is still a world that I cherish and though I often find what many do in the name of any excuse reprehensible, I can not stop loving and mourning for the person that they were meant to be, while rejecting their deeds. I don’t have to walk a mile in someone’s shoes to know that different people respond to different obstacles and challenges in their lives in different ways and sometimes even the time of day or the weather can make great variations in the way a person may respond. People sometimes say things out of pain, embarrassment, shame or jealousy but I refuse to except that they do it out of ignorance. Saying that racism is the result of ignorance is letting them off the hook. How can you fault a person for what they don’t know? They know what they are doing and there is always a method to their madness. Do not encourage Black women to chase the false idols of glamour and false beauty. Do not encourage them to disfigure themselves in an attempt to be accepted by a world that is dying before your eyes. Bare the burden of your curse with dignity and teach your children to be humble and make themselves right with God. It is clearly written that we would be dispersed to all corners of the world and that we would be slaves to every ruler and every nation. It is written that we would be despised in every country and that none would willing accept us. Many think that this was written for the Jews, but who is despised by even the Jew and who came from the land that the Jews claimed, long before one word of Hebrew had ever been written. Why is it that everyone wants to ignore and make your forget that Egypt “is” a part of Africa. Africa is not a country. Africa is a “continent”. Africa is made up of more countries that almost any other continent in the world. Isn’t it funny who from Africa they want to malign and call African when we all come from the same continent. Why? This is an easy question to answer if you throw away that slave Bible that Massa put in your brainless little hands so that he could continue to control those big, black, massive bucks that he needed to till his soil. It is so because God ordained it; because we were ungrateful, impatient, disloyal and disobedient. We have a chance to redeem ourselves and the entire world is against us. We are not afforded the luxury of deciding who is who and what is what. We are integrated with the people of every nation, religion, creed and language. Accept your heritage and your punishment and do not fail God again. We can not afford to fail him again. Read your Bible carefully and choose your Bible well. God knew that there would be those that would add to and take away from his word and he gave those evil doers a warning against doing this but it was done just the same. Pull the I-pods out of your children’s ears and replace it with the world of God. Shut of the filthy, lying, propaganda machine that teaches your children from infancy that all the answers to the world and their every desire is just one remote control button away. Put filters and blockers on your computers and make sure that your children only use it where they can be seen. Check out their social web page accounts. Boy will you be shocked. I know I was. You cannot imprison them but you can train them and you can educate them and if you do it well them a mighty tree from a tiny acorn will grow. You can not teach them until you have educated yourself and children learn more from what they see then what they hear. That is why the media’s plan has been so successful and diabolical. You invited the vampires into your home and turned your most precious, most valuable gifts over to them and then you wonder why parent’s can’t control their children anymore. This answer too is easy; because they have allowed the vampires to sick their spirits dry. They have allowed them to grow up believing that the world belongs to he that can take the most and it doesn’t matter how he takes it. They have grown up believing that God is a fairy tale that only weak minded people believe and use to explain away their inadequacies. They have been taught that if it feels good, do it and the only reason anyone wants them to stop doing it is because they are afraid that they are having a better time then you. They even have you lining up to have your children implanted, tagged and cataloged. They are watching your every movement right down to being able to zoom into the house number on your door. They are telling you that it is your duty as a parent to protect your daughters from a disease with a vaccine for a disease that no one you know has every had but they have no answer for diseases that are killing people by the thousand everyday and has been for over sixty years. My friend we need to have a meeting, but not for the reasons that you state here. Let these demons have this world. It has already gone to the devil in a hand basket. Gather your sisters together, educated them, support them and turn off those damn digital, poisonous, mind control weapons that they have been using against you and your children for far too long. There is life without TV and video games. You might find that you may even get to really know your children and enjoy spending time with them. I dumped my TV and I have taught myself to play the flute, cello, violin and the piano. I can even pluck out a melody on a guitar. If nothing else I know that you will be giving them the only chance that they have to actually survive in this world to come if you prepare them now. Do a little research. Don’t believe a thing anybody tells you and especially if you see it in the media. Find out for yourself. The truth is out there and their contempt for us is so great that they no longer even bother to hide anything anymore. Before I end this little contribution that has gone so far off subject that I am sure that you think that I am some real nut case; I would be extremely remiss if I did not tell you to forget about your government. It has been dead for years. The government that you thought you knew no longer exists. It is every man for himself, while the government takes care of the haves and the have mores. Your only hope is finding out the truth; putting neighbor back in neighborhood, inoculating yourself against the poison and educating your children. Research, research, research; “Those that do not know their history is destined to repeat it.” Except this time I don’t think there will be a next time.

Too bad. I thought that at last someone realizes that we do have a problem. I didn’t respond to your blog looking for a fix but I am sure that is just your sense of humor shining through. I will accept your prays and I will also pray for you I can assure you that we both are going to need them. Thank you for the honest response. I know that my message is not for everybody. In addition without gainfully employment, Barack Obama would be in the same position as numerous Black men, who for lack of gainful employment may turn to other methods of making ends meet to provide the necessities of life. The success of the traditional Black family unit, and gainful employment opportunity, go hand in hand. Without gainful employment opportunity, slim chance exists to where any Black family unit can remain intact.
All joking aside I think a “State of the Black Woman’s Union” is a great idea (I know Tyra tried it on her show, but it left something to be desired for me.)
