Charlie Sheen and the N-Word
June 19, 2008Those of you that keep up with celebrity news know that the Denise Richards/Charlie Sheen battle can’t sink any lower. That is until now.
Denise has released a three years old voicemail from Charlie in which he calls her an “F***ing Ni****” (no word on whether he added an “a” or an “er”)
Of Course Charlie has released a statement:
I deeply apologize by my choice of words to all I have obviously offended; especially to Tony Todd, an African-American, who was my best man at my first two weddings.”
Sheen goes on to say that his anger management has become better in recent times. “Three and one-half years later, the reasons that caused the anger and frustration displayed on that voice mail continue to be manifested on a daily basis” because “my children did not show up today for a custodial visit without explanation.”
um…ok
Did he not know that his ex-wife is white??
I don’t know if i’m offended or not.
A. He has a black best friend and if the brotha uses that word around him often, then that may expalin his confusion about the usage of the word.
B. If you use a slur, against someone who’s not apart of the group that the slur is about, are you insulting the group or the individual person??
Like I as a woman get upset if you call me or another woman a b**ch or a h**(slurs typically used against women) but if you call a man those things, is it still a slur against me??
These are the questions… Oh well.
How low can Charlie and Denise go? Just how low?

I guess he was calling her ignorant.. which would mean he’s a “N” himself. What’s up with these Hollywood white men ranting on the telephone because they can’t get what they want? Didn’t he learn anything from the Alec Baldwin tape?
