Dear Debra Lee,
I see you have a thing for open letters, well I do to.
Recently Teresa Wiltz wrote an article about BET in the Washington Post profiling of your head of “Entertainment” Reggie Hudlin’s demise from cutting edge skewering of BET founder with Aaron McGruder ( Creator of the Boondocks): to Hudlin’s current position at your network.
Apparently Teresa’s honest criticism of the network got your thong and booty shorts in a knot, (what? You don’t wear those? But the videos you air show that all of colored women were those!) because you felt the need to take time from your busy job of exploiting black people, to write a letter to the Washington Post defending your exploitation of Black people.

After months of speculation, controversy and conversations the first leak from Nas’s new Album “Nigger” is out.
The song is called “Be a Nigger too”. I said I was going to wait until I heard it to make a judgment, but I’m still not so sure about this.
Take a listen.
• Disclaimer- if you are squimish about bad language, racial slurs, derogatory speech, poor grammar etc. do yourself and favor and do not press play!! Just don’t! At the same time I’d prefer that you listen to it before you post your opinion. It just makes sense that way.

One of my favorite guilty pleasures is doing something good for Aids Research. Ludacris is hosting a $100 a plate benefit at his new restaurant in Atlanta, and fundraiser at Lenox Mall with Ciara.

Yeah you SHOULD feel “Konvicted”!
Diddy was right, Bitchassness is a disease affecting our community and Akon is the newest victim. This dude has faked his jail time! You know how he supposedly went to prison for 3 whole, horrible years filled with violence and moments that inspired his hit song “Locked up.” Well turns out that’s a big fat lie!!

Dear Bob Johnson,
Everyone’s entitled to their own opinions and to vote for their own candidates. Tavis Smiley, Rep. Maxine Waters, and Maya Angelou are all prominent black people who have chosen to support Hillary Clinton. Although it is not the same choice that I have made I can respect that and respect them. It’s you I have a problem with.

Dear Diddy,
I really thought you and I were working things out! You provided me countless hours of entertainment with every season of “Making the Band”. Even though iyou haze them like your name is “Dean Big Brother ALMIGHTY” I love it! Danity Kane sounds like they can actually sing and the Day 26 guys aren’t half bad either. You even gave me a new catch phrase, “Bitchassness” will always make me think of you. And even I’m still bitter about you and Kim ( How many babies does the Sister need to have before you stop acting a fool?) I believed we were healing. It started to feel like the good old days (you know, before the shiny suits and J-Lo dance numbers) you even knocked one of my Flip flops off in “A Raisin in the Sun” (yeah just one.) But today I just can’t take anymore.
You see last week, a friend of mine brought up a very shady time in our past, but I denied it, I defended you! “What happened to Cassie?” he asked?? “Somewhere modeling some Sean John, where she belongs” I said. You see I was so sure that you were actually making a smart decision, Cassie is a very pretty girl and considering how skinny she is it makes that she would be an excellent model. I encourage that!
But today I saw that you’re putting out a second Cassie Album??!!!
Her label head, Sean “Diddy” Combs, tells Billboard that Cassie has since stepped up her game and has songs on her sophomore album that will impress the haters.
“That’s going to really, really catch people off guard,” Diddy says. “There’s a huge [cry] out there for a younger Britney Spears, a younger Janet Jackson. Those two great artists have paved the way. She has a single out called ‘Official Girl’ and Danja produced it, and it is a smash.”

What? Improved you say? Huh??! What did we do to deserve this? Have we wronged you in some way? Do you like to punish people with working hearing?? Or did you just forget? Here’s a refresher!
106 & Park performance
If she had to work for two years to sound like Britney then you know there’s a problem!! DIDDY WHY!!!?
Didn’t we almost have it all?
Explaining Cassie’s poor performances during the promotion of her self-titled debut album, Diddy says: “I just don’t think she was ready. I think that we threw her into the spotlight without the artist development — that goes on with a lot of new artists. We pulled out, we took our time, we developed her for like, a year-and-a-half. People are just going to see her there and be like, ‘Wow, she’s really cocooned into a butterfly.’”
Is that the right way to used the word cocoon? like a verb?!? Dang it Diddy it’ over!!! take this “No Bitchassness” T-shirt back and scram!
Signed

This Article was linked in the “Black in the Bay” News Letter.
It’s a very interesting perspective on the supposed problems in black America.
