Things that Disturb my Spirit

I’ve been a little “inconegro” the past few days and in a serious rut. I apologize for the lack of posts.

I felt like sharing some things that disturbed my spirit this week. You may laugh or hang your head in shame, but it is what it is.

Parents don’t let Crazy folks watch your kids!-Babysitters dehydrate Toddler!

Parents, Parents, Parents! A woman and her brother were charged with manslaughter and cruelty to a young minor, after the child they were babysitting died. Of what you may ask? These losers refused to give the 23 month old child any liquids for a week because he’d wet the bed! The poor baby was not even two years old!!

Levert Family Asks FBI to investigate death

The Levert Family is petitioning the FBI to investigate the death of Sean Levert.

Justice? What is that?

Activists in Lima, Ohio are outraged over the shooting death of a young, black mother as she held her son. Tarika Wilson was shot during a SWAT raid that targeted her boyfriend. Police Sergeant Joseph Chavalia has been charged with negligent homicide for her death and negligent assault for shooting her son, Sincere.( Little Sincere was wounded during the shooting and had to get a finger amputated.)

In all of my blogs about relationships and stuff, I purposely make a distinction between males and “good men.” In the course of me writing and talking to people, I’ve been asked (mainly by males) What is a good man? I really had to think about it, because there is no blanket answer. I’ve every guy I’ve dated was a good guy, but not necessarily a good man. Some guys are good men but just because he’s a good guy doesn’t make him the right good man you me (or you). So what is a good man?
