I heard this song today on the radio. It’s called “16 at War by Karina Pasian. Really listen to the WORDS of this song!
If you know a young person, play this song for them and talk about the things that she sings about. If you’re a young person struggling to explain what’s going on in your life make your people listen to this song. It’s important to know how Teens and young folks are feeling so grown folks, shut up sometimes and really listen to what they have to say.
Song Written by The Dream

Great music, bad dancing and crazy day glow fashions. The stuff wonderfully horrible old school are made of: Enjoy!

I reported yesterday that Dru Hill had a triumphant reunion and terribly messy breakup in the span of ten minutes on the Radio the other day. Well according toYBF.com the reunion is apparently back on and all five men are in the studio (now maybe I can’t count or something because I don’t remember a fifth man, Who dis is?) but tension is still there because Woody plans to continue with his Gospel project. We’ll keep and Eye on this one.

In what has to be the worst move ever, R&B group Dru Hill got back together and broke up and then got in a fight!!! On the Air! What’s even sadder is that all of this took place in the span of about 10 min. I have no words you have to hear it to believe it! Woody I’m glad you’re sold out for the Lord but you’re convictions needed to come out long before ya’ll were on the radio. Just Messy!!! Take a look see!

Originally I wanted to post an old school jam of the week, and I decided to make the first entry one of my favorite’s “Encore” by Cheryl Lynn (Also the voice behind “Got to be Real”). This song has a hot beat and one of the most underrated voices in R&B history. That is until I watched the video and saw how horrifically funny it is! It has everything! a cheesy strip club, a skinny white “exotic” dancer, a man in a cat suit and this girl who danced so strangely that I thought she’d had a seizure on screen! Jam to the beat and laugh at the madness that is this video.

My Grandmama thinks Obama may be the Anti-Christ because of how enamored his supporters are with him!! (myself included) after watching this video I can see where she’s coming from. Enjoy another Star Studded Video ( Cameos from Jessica Alba, Regina King, Tichina Arnold, Tyrese, George Lopez and a host of others that I either didn’t know or just can’t remember), Courtesy of Will.I.Am- “We Are the Ones”
I do think it’s hot fire! I’m going to have “O-bama, Obama” stuck in my head for a while. Dang it! I just stopped humming “Yes We Can!” yesterday!
